June 15th marked the day NCAA college coaches could contact prospects in the class of 2019 via phone, social media, etc. Of course, division-1 prospects phones were ringing off the hook at midnight, especially those who are high priorities.
Five Star forward Trendon Watford remains atop and fielded numerous phone calls from coaches including Alabama, Auburn, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, LSU, Memphis, Ohio St, South Carolina, TCU, Tennessee, UConn & Wake Forest. The two Tennessee programs (Memphis & Tennessee) both extended offers over the phone that day.
Kobe Brown moves up a spot. The 6-foot-6 guard has dropped some baby fat and has offers from over 25 division-1 schools. He is a four star on most national services and has improved over the last few months or so. He was contacted by Auburn, Florida State, Georgetown, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Iowa State, Kansas State, Maryland, Memphis, Miami, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Providence, Richmond, Stanford, Texas A&M, UAB & UMass.
Hazel Green guard Kira Lewis is also a four star on most recruiting sites and received phone calls from Alabama, Auburn, Baylor, Dayton and UAB while receiving offers from Oklahoma St and South Florida. Lewis is the natural scorer of the class and has seen his recruitment rise on the high major level since the April live period.
Jaykwon Walton is the youngest of the class at only 15-years old and fielded many calls as well. Auburn, Colorado St, Dayton, Iowa, Georgia, Middle Tennessee, Mississippi St, Troy, Tulane, UAB, Western Kentucky and Xavier all contacted the 6-foot-6 guard. Walton recently competed in team camps at Alabama, Mississippi St and UAB with his Carver-Montgomery squad.

Wichita St commit Deantoni Gordon didn’t get as many calls as others and it’s mainly due to schools respecting his commitment. Houston, South Alabama and Troy still made contact and South Alabama has really made the effort to land the hometown star. Gordon's upside is very high and he is making strides with his skill set.
Wenonah’s Cameron Tucker is best true point guard in the class and has made a drastic move into the top ten along with CJ Yarbrough of Tanner who is a dynamic scorer with athleticism.
Big man Demond Robinson of Lee-Montgomery picked up recent offers from South Alabama and UAB while fielding calls from Dayton and Troy as well.
Desmond Williams’ phone was hot as well with Auburn, Dayton, Samford and Troy hitting his line and received an offer from Alabama St as well. Samford extended an offer back in April.
Be on the lookout for prospects Denver Jones, Brandon Nicholas, Tremere Brown and Sabatian Terry to emerge on the division-I market in the near future.
