Weekly Recap: Prospect Update
The much anticipated matchup between 6A #1 Carver-Montgomery and 5A #1 Wenonah was everything we expected. Between the two teams, five players have made their college decisions with two of them being juniors and several others who are division-I prospects.
Alabama signee Justin Coleman (2014 #1) was the David in this Goliath match-up. He poured in 37 points but for the spectators looked more like 50! Coleman has to arguably be one of the best lead guards in the nation as the 5-foot-10 speedster makes it look so easy as he has been unguardable, if that's even a word. In the first game of the season he had 27 points on a bad shooting night followed by a 53-point outing before the big win against the Wolverines bringing him to an average of 39 pts/game.
