 Alabama has just put together arguably the best recruiting class ever in the state with the commitment of John Petty last night prior to Mae Jemison's inaugural home game. Petty is the first five star basketball prospect (ESPN #25) to sign with the Crimson Tide since JaMychal Green of St. Jude back in 2008 unless you want to argue Trevor Lacey who was a four star on ESPN but a five star on Rivals.  Mississippi State landed a big commitment, literally and figuratively, in 6-foot-9 Garrison Brooks of Auburn High School. It probably didn't come off as a surprise given that his father George Brooks is an assistant coach under Ben Howland. [Read Here]
