If you said the last name Rogers on the Alabama State Campus a few years ago, you’d begin to hear stories of how many points they saw Steve Rogers Sr. score in one game. Or how he wowed the crowd with breath taking dunks or how he out-dueled former NBA Players Lindsey Hunter and the late Bobby Phills in classic SWAC battles. Alongside Alabama women's basketball commit and fellow classmate Cierra Johnson, Todd decided to end his recruitment on the first day of school by verbally committing to New Mexico State. Team camps and play dates are happening throughout the state but due to AHSAA rules and by laws, teams can only play in a total of three days of competitive play during the entire month of June.
